Telstra can now confidently include an intelligent parking system to their suite of offerings

Telstra Corporation Limited began their deployment of smart city Internet of Things (IoT) technology in May 2017.

This began with a pilot in Joondalup, Western Australia, where Smart Parking were part of a successful project to provide intelligent parking technology. This technology was designed to monitor vehicle activity, and more importantly to integrate and work alongside other sensors that monitor temperature, humidity, pollution, light, and noise levels.

After a successful launch, Telstra were happy to have Smart Parking on board as a partner and preferred supplier.

Smart Parking are enjoying a working relationship with Telstra

As a working solution, Smart Parking negotiated a special purchase order agreement with Telstra, validating the effectiveness that Smart Parking’s hardware, technology and support team will bring to their projects.

This results in Telstra being able to confidently include intelligent parking systems as part of their smart city IoT initiative to communities across Australia.

Working with the team at Telstra has been a marvellous opportunity to bring our world-class intelligent parking technology to Australian cities. It’s always rewarding to work with companies who share the same vision and values as we do, and in Telstra we’ve found a kindred spirit, with the same level of drive and passion that we have in bringing smart cities IoT technology to the world.
