We are a growing and ambitious global company looking for an Appeals Handler to join our team. Helping to provide an efficient, effective and consistent appeals process for motorists. Roles and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out accurate data entry and administrative tasks to support the appeals process
- Reviewing images of vehicles to ensure the registration number read by the camera matches the images and match up payments where possible
- Reading through appeals submitted by motorists (received both in the post and through the website) and investigating why the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) was issued, checking for payments, etc. and making a decision on whether to uphold or cancel the charge – if the PCN is upheld, writing up a response and issuing this to the motorist
- Providing cover for calls when required, which may include taking incoming calls from motorists from our appeals helpline and assisting them with their query
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Mathematics, grade C/4 or equivalent
Skills, experience and personal attributes
- Professional telephone manner: previous call handling/centre experience desirable
- Strong client service focus
- Solid experience of Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound logical thinking
- Great interpersonal skills
